Our Core Values

Our Core Values are: Worshiping Community; Belonging; Connecting; Tenaciously Boldly Going Out; Spreading Hope Through Sharing the Word of God; Inviting, Welcoming, Connecting; Going Into The World; Loving Each Other.

Worshiping Community:

Our Worship is centered on Jesus and is practiced in the Episcopal tradition of the priesthood of all believers, using spiritual tools from the church fathers and mothers. (Our worship comes from the Book of Common Prayer, which is filled with scripture and ancient prayers patterned after early Jewish worship.)

Belonging:

At Baptism, we become part of God’s family. A new family, where everyone belongs and is included, and engaging in spiritual growth, sharing what they know of Jesus, while seeking to learn from those who know and live their faith.

Connecting:

We gather and grow through reflection on God’s Word; praying for one another and loving one another and those who join us in fellowship.

Tenaciously Boldly Going Out:

As disciples of Jesus, we are called to go out and share the love of God with others by word, service, and presence.

Spreading Hope Through Sharing the Word of God:

Through engaging in study of the Word and living a life of faith, we share God’s Word to help others find Hope in Christ.

Inviting, Welcoming, Connecting:

We courageously invite others into relationship with us as individuals and our worship community through social media, mail and in person. We have a robust newcomer welcoming and integration process fully in place to receive, welcome and want to connect. We encourage members to engage and participate in worship on a regular basis.

We make disciples in the way of love and hope, by first tending to our own spiritual growth as we look for any reason to fall in love with God and one another, and then seeking a few others we can share with, through one-on-one fellowship, small groups and fun.

Going Into The World:

We are Stewarding our resources and collaborating with others to serve the good of our greater community.

Loving Each Other:

Love each other through caring relationships by supporting each other, staying in touch, identifying needs, sharing time and resources, and having fun and fellowship.
